Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This policy explains how ArivuPro Social ("the app", "we"), operated by ArivuPro Academy, handles information, including data received from Google and YouTube. The app is used by ArivuPro Academy to manage social media accounts and YouTube channels that the organization owns or manages.
1. Information we access
When a channel owner or manager connects a YouTube channel, they grant access on Google's consent screen. The app then accesses:
- Channel information: channel ID, name, handle, and public channel and video statistics, to show which channel is connected and how it is performing.
- Videos and their details: videos uploaded by our team through the app, and the title, description, tags, category, privacy status, scheduled publish time, thumbnail and playlists of videos on the channel.
- Comments on the channel's videos, which are read and displayed to our team.
- YouTube Analytics reports for the channel (for example views, watch time, subscribers, traffic sources, audience demographics in aggregate, and estimated revenue where the channel has it).
- OAuth tokens issued by Google, which let the app act on the channel without ever seeing the Google account password.
The app also stores basic details of our own team members who sign in (name and work email address, via Google sign-in) and the roles they hold in the workspace.
We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google service.
2. Google API scopes we request
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube: manage the connected channel. Used to upload videos and set their details, update thumbnails, manage playlists, and read channel, video and comment data.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics.readonly: read the connected channel's analytics reports.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/yt-analytics-monetary.readonly: read the connected channel's estimated revenue reports.
3. How we use the information
We use Google user data only to provide the features visible in the app: connecting a channel, uploading and scheduling videos, managing their details, and showing performance reports to the team that manages that channel. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell Google user data and we do not transfer it to third parties, except:
- to infrastructure and hosting providers that run the app on our behalf, solely to operate it;
- when required by law, or to protect against fraud, abuse or security issues.
Data is visible only to members of the ArivuPro Academy workspace, according to their role.
5. Limited Use disclosure
ArivuPro Social's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Storage and security
- OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM).
- Google account passwords are never requested or stored.
- Access to the app and its data is restricted to signed-in members of the workspace.
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS.
7. Retention and deletion
- When a channel is disconnected, its stored OAuth tokens are deleted and the app asks Google to revoke them, so the app can no longer access the channel.
- Reports and other data previously collected for a channel remain in the app until deleted. You can request deletion at any time at the address below.
8. Your choices and controls
- You can revoke the app's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- You can disconnect a channel from the Integrations page of the app.
- You can request deletion of your data by contacting us (see section 11).
9. YouTube API Services
ArivuPro Social uses YouTube API Services. By using the app you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
10. Other platforms
The app also connects to Instagram and Facebook Pages through Meta's APIs, to publish content and show its performance. Their access tokens are stored encrypted in the same way, and data from those platforms is handled under this policy and each platform's own terms.
